8, 2013) – The second Dragon Master
Slot tournament successfully
concluded its second round at The Venetian® Macao, Sands® Macaoand Sands®
Cotai Central casinos last weekend, giving away HK$1
million in total prize money to
the top 20 finalists. Mr. Chan won the final
round Sunday and was awarded a HK$380,000
cash prize for his first place finish in the tournament.
The qualifying
rounds of the competition took place Saturday, attracting over 1000 slot fans and Sands Rewards Club
members. 600 players participated in Sunday’s semi-final round at The Venetian
Macao, but only the top 30 were able
to enter the final round for a shot at becoming one of
the 20 finalists claiming their portion of the tournament’s cash prize pool of HK$1 million.
The 30 players in Sunday’s final have also
been guaranteed a seat in the Royal Dragon Master Slot tournament’s qualifying
round on March 23, which offers a HK$5 million total cash prize pool. Sands Rewards Club members who accumulate 888 points
from slot or table games at any of the three participating casinos between March
2 and 22, or patrons paying a HK$5,000 cash entry fee, are also eligible to
join the upcoming tournament in March.
