Signature Chinese restaurants to offer special menus
(Macao, Aug. 20, 2015) – Mid-Autumn Festival falls on Sept. 27 this year and there is no better way to spend it than to get together with friends and family over a delicious meal. As the Mid-Autumn Festival is so close to National Day on Oct. 1, restaurants at Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao and Sands® Macao are offering a fantastic selection of menus created especially for this joint celebration.
Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao
North at The Venetian® Macao: Known for its open kitchen and pulled noodle demonstrations, North regularly features on best restaurant lists. It also received the Best of Award of Excellence for the third consecutive year from Wine Spectator magazine.
Specialising in northern Chinese cuisine, the limited-edition Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day joint menu is available from Sept 25-Oct 11. Dishes start at just MOP 128* and include: “Dong Bei” style barbecue pork with pickled vegetables; stir-fried beef, prawns and vegetables with Sichuan Chilli; prawns with spicy minced pork sauce; steamed semi-dried salted yellow fish in chicken fat and edamame; and Sichuan-style soft tofu with sliced beef in Chilli oil. Guests dining Sept. 25-27 will receive a free Northern-style moon cake with green tea and mixed nuts.

Canton at The Venetian Macao: The elegantly decorated fine-dining restaurant offers exquisite Cantonese cuisine, and is also featured in Hong Kong Tatler’s Best Restaurants 2015. It was recently awarded the Best of Award of Excellence for its wine list for the third consecutive year by Wine Spectator magazine.
Two unique six-course Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day menus, priced at MOP 880* and MOP 1,000* per person, are available between Sept 25-Oct 11, and include delectable offerings such as doubled boiled abalone and fish maw soup with matsutake mushroom; poached Chinese cabbage with fresh ginseng and wolfberries in superior broth; sautéed scallops with choi sum and black truffle; and sautéed wagyu beef served with asparagus and chilli. Come and celebrate Mid-Autumn festival and National Day in traditional Cantonese style at Canton. Each menu also includes dessert.

The menu includes exquisite dishes like chilled five spice braised beef shank marinated in spicy Sichuan pepper with soy dressing; doubled-boiled superior soup with matsutake mushrooms, fish maw and conpoy; braised abalone and goose web in oyster sauce; and sweetened almond soup with hasma and sesame dumplings and iced moon cake.

Golden Court: A great place to enjoy a Cantonese-style Mid-Autumn Festival meal on the Macao peninsula is at Golden Court at Sands Macao. Golden Court provides a traditional and authentic Cantonese dining experience in a contemporary, modern setting. The special Mid-Autumn Festival menu is priced at MOP 1,980* per table of six and will be available between Sept.19 – 27. It features braised Boston lobster with e-fu noodles, poached iceberg
