DreamWorks Animation’s “Kung Fu Panda 3” Macao Movie Premiere at Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao

Celebrity guests walk the red carpet and attend exclusive screening at The Venetian Theatre

(Macao, March 5, 2016) – Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao hosted the movie premiere of “Kung Fu Panda 3,” the latest comedy blockbuster movie from DreamWorks Animation Saturday, as part of the DreamWorks Experience at Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao. Celebrities from Hong Kong and Macao attended the red carpet event and the Macao premiere of the animated movie, drawing a crowd of excited onlookers.   

 

Among the celebrity attendees were Priscilla Wong, Alfred Hui, James Ng, Terence Chui, Hon Yeung, Amy Tam, Glen Lee, Power Chan and Mimi Lo, Eileen Yeow, and Bob Lam, while several of them have brought their children to the screening. Also in attendance were celebrities from Macao such as Vivian Chan, Vivian Lo, German Ko, Hyper Lo and Cherry Ho. There were also about 400 attendees from community associations including Caritas Macau, The Women's General Association of Macau, The Against Child Abuse (Macau) Association (ACAM) Child Protection Centre, Cradle of Hope Association, The Macau Down Syndrome Association and St. Jose Ka-ho School.

 

Saturday’s premiere was the fifth DreamWorks Animation movie to come to The Venetian Macao’s Venetian Theatre. Previous premieres have included “Penguins of the Madagascar” in February 2015, “How to Train Your Dragon 2” in June 2014, “Mr. Peabody and Sherman” in March 2014 and “Turbo” in July 2013.

“Kung Fu Panda 3” sees the lovable Po return to the big screen. But when the supernatural villain begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible and train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas!

 

The all-star voice cast of “Kung Fu Panda 3” includes Jack Black, Kate Hudson, Brvan Crauston, Angelina Jolie and Jackie Chan.

 

Audiences in Macao will be able to enjoy a Cantonese version voiced by some of the most famous names in the region, including Eason Chan and Jackie Chan. “Kung Fu Panda 3” will open at cinemas in Macao on March 17, 2016.
