Celebrities Gathered at The Venetian Macao for Chinese New Year

Dongbei dishes featured in an evening of cuisine and conversation to welcome the Year of the Monkey

(Macao, Feb. 22, 2016) – A group of celebrity foodies came together at North, the signature Chinese restaurant at The Venetian® Macao, on Friday to welcome the Year of the Monkey with a sumptuous feast of regional dishes. The group included renowned food critic Mr. Chua Lam; Mr. Kinson Loo, the CEO of ImagineVision Technology; Mr. Raymond Guo, president of Rimowa China; Zou Shiming, professional boxer and double Olympic gold medalist; Ran Yingying, Zou’s wife and former CCTV TV host; Weijia Li, celebrity TV host on Hunan TV; Frankie Chan, founder of Beijing Guanye Street Macau Hot Pot and his wife.

The group enjoyed a range of decadent dishes from the dongbei region of China prepared by Ken Xu, senior chef of North.
