Nicholas Tse, Nicky Wu and contestants visit landmarks around the city
(Macao, Feb. 17, 2016) – “Lady Bees,” a brand new reality TV show, was in Macao between Feb. 13 and Feb. 16 filming an episode of the inaugural season. Supported by The Venetian ® Macao, the cast and crew spent three days filming at various locations inside The Venetian Macao and around the city. Superstars Nicholas Tse and Nicky Wu led the contestants around locations such as the San Luca Canal at Shoppes at Venetian, the main lobby of The Venetian Macao, the outdoor lagoon area, The Venetian Theatre, and Macao attractions such as the ruins of St. Paul’s. The first episode of “Lady Bees” will be broadcast via Zhejiang TV at 10 p.m. on March 12.
The joint Chinese and Korean production brought Taiwanese singer, actor Nicky Wu and award-winning actor and singer Nicholas Tse, the contestants as well as five judges to Macao. On Feb. 16 the cast participated in a press conference during which clips of the new TV show and its trailer were revealed to the media for the first time.
The Venetian Macao is a popular location for film and television productions. Past shoots have included Chow Yun-Fat’s “From Vegas to Macau,” Zhang Ziyi’s “My Lucky Star,” Hollywood movie “Now You See Me 2”, Dragon TV’s reality show “Comedy King season 2 finals” and popular Korean reality show “We Got Married,” making the integrated resort a hotspot for celebrity sightings.
