Sing! China National Day Special Wows Fans at The Venetian Macao

China’s biggest singing competition sees talented contestants and celebrity mentors go head-to-head in thrilling battle

(Macao, Sept. 26, 2016) – Hit reality TV show Sing! China wowed audiences at Cotai Arena at The Venetian® Macao on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, while filming an episode of Sing! China in Macao for an upcoming China National Day television special.

A thrilling, on-stage singing battle saw four of China’s most popular singers – Jay Chou, Na Ying, Wang Feng and Harlem Yu – acting as celebrity mentors to 14 talented contestants who performed their signature songs from season one of Sing! China.

Following an audition, the four celebrity mentors initially choose their own team of contestants. Participants then have an on-stage ‘sing-off’, where they perform two songs, with their mentors determining which team member stays or leaves. The contestants then battle it out until the finalists are decided.

For the last phase, the remaining singers compete against each other in a live broadcast, while the six final contestants sing again with the outcome decided by votes from the studio audience and professional judges.

The most-viewed programme in its prime time slot since first airing on July 15, 2016, Sing! China is a hugely popular singing competition and reality show and is produced by Star TV and aired via Zhejiang Satellite TV.
