World-renowned composer and conductor Tan Dun will lead the Macao Orchestra and three guest musicians, violinist Jue Yao, cellist Amedeo Cicchese and pianist Jessie Chang through his Tan Dun Martial Arts Trilogy - “Hero,” “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” and “The Banquet.”
Tan has won dozens of awards, including a Grammy and an Oscar for his score for the movie “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.” Tan is a UNESCO global Goodwill Ambassador and has composed works for world famous virtuosos including cellist Yo-Yo Ma and pianist Lang Lang, and he was commissioned by the International Olympic Committee to write the logo music and award ceremony music for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
Music lovers will not want to miss this unique live performance which has entertained audiences around the world with its Hollywood grandeur.
