33rd Macao International Music Festival

The 33rd Macao International Music Festival (MIMF), organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, will be held from 4 to 30 October. This edition of the MIMF, themed “The Instrumentalist”, offers 17 programmes in a total of 22 excellent performances, bringing a feast of grandeur, bounding spirit and rhythmic melodies to the public, as well as sharing the beauty of music.

3.Programme & Notice
General Seating Performances
Seating for the performances at the Mandarin’s House, the Taipa Houses Amphitheatre and the University of Macau Library Plaza is not assigned and is available on a first come, first served basis.
Free Transportation
1. Free transportation to Praça Ferreira Amaral, Av. Horta e Costa, Fai Chi Kei and Toi San will be available outside the Macao Cultural Centre after each performance.
2. In conjunction with the concert The Vienna Philharmonic, the organiser offers “Music Express” bus service for the members of the public to travel between the city centre and the University of Macau Library Plaza. Details will be announced later through the official page of the Macao International Music Festival, the respective page on Facebook and the WeChat account “ICmacao”.
Notice:
1. Audience members are strongly advised to arrive 10 minutes before the performances start. The organiser reserves the right to determine at what time and in what manner latecomers are admitted;
2. Children under the age of 6 will not be admitted to the performances. The organiser reserves the right to request and to examine the valid ID of any child to determine his or her age, and to deny admission to any child;
3. All mobile phones, beeping and lighting devices should be switched off throughout the performances;
4. Smoking, eating, drinking or possession of plastic bags and/or objects considered dangerous is prohibited in the performance venues;
5. To avoid undue disturbance to the performers and audience members, cameras and recording devices are strictly prohibited unless expressly authorised by the organiser;
6. In case of any special circumstance, the organiser reserves the right to change the programme, the cast of performers, performing date or time and seats at any time;
7. In case of severe weather conditions, please check IC’s website, MIMF’s website, MIMF’s page on Facebook and IC’s WeChat account for the latest updates;
8. The Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government reserves the right of interpretation and final decision regarding any dispute concerning these terms.
