Hailing from Malaysia, Gary Chaw moved to Taiwan to pursue his studies and develop his music career in 2003. Aside from being a singer, he has also composed songs for many talented stars. He became active in the Mandopop industry in 2006, receiving the Best Mandarin Male Singer at Taiwan’s Golden Melody Awards in 2008, which made him the first Malaysian singer to be crowned with this title.
