Tickets for the debut gala concert featuring 28 contestants of the show and the four celebrity mentors at The Venetian Macao's CotaiArena™ sold out within two hours. Due to the overwhelming response, The Venetian Macao and Star China announced an extra concert night featuring the 28 contestants for September 22, but once again, tickets were all gone within a couple of hours after going on sale on September 13.
"The Venetian Macao would like to thank Star China Media Ltd. for partnering with us to bring this mega-hit show to Macao, which is indeed in line with our continuous commitment to develop the city into a world centre of tourism and leisure," said Mr. Tracy. "We are pleased to host the inaugural show of 'The Voice of China" Gala Concert World Tour. We are thrilled to see the incredible response and we sincerely thank the public for their enthusiastic support. We will earnestly continue our tradition of bringing the best in Asian and international superstar events to Macao, as part of our strong entertainment offering aimed at diversifying Macao's tourism industry."
Tian Ming, Chief Executive Officer of Star China Media Ltd., said, "Collaborating again with The Venetian Macao was a natural move for Star China Media Ltd. The Voice of China is a phenomenal programme and has been a resounding success for Star China, and we knew that staging a special show in Macao would be no different, given The Venetian Macao's track record, their professionalism, and the success of our previous partnership on the Star TV China Music Awards at the CotaiArena last April. We are all looking forward to two incredible nights of entertainment for fans of The Voice of China next week in Macao."
Fans and spectators will no doubt be eager to descend on the CotaiArena on September 21 and 22, as they take advantage of this rare opportunity to experience the magic of The Voice of China live and up-close, as the 28 contestants and their four celebrity mentors perform on stage at The Venetian Macao, before the show's highly-anticipated finale on September 30 in Shanghai.
