(Macao, September 18, 2012) – The second Dragon Master Slot tournament
featuring HK$1 million in prize money out of the HK$7 million total prize pool of
the three consecutive tournaments came to an end Sunday night at The Venetian® Macao,
with Miss Yu from Hong Kong finishing
in first place with a HK$380,000 cash prize. The final Royal Round of The Dragon
Master Slot tournament will be held on October 13 and 14, offering players a
chance at a five-million-dollar win.
The qualifying
rounds of the competition took place at The Venetian Macao,
Sands® Macao and Sands® Cotai Central casinos Saturday, drawing over 1,000 Sands Rewards Club members to participate. A total of
650 contestants entered Sunday’s semi-final
round at The Venetian Macao, with the top 30 players going on to compete in the final round for a
shot at becoming one of the top 20 winning players claiming their portion of the tournament’s totalcash prize pool of HK$1,000,000. Miss Yu
eventually won the second Slot Master title and was awarded the HK$380,000 cash
prize for her first place finish. The thirty players in Sunday’s final have each
been given a seat in the Royal Dragon Master Slot tournament’s qualifying round,
to be held on October 13, with a chance to win a share of a HK$5,000,000 total
cash prize pool.
The first Dragon Master Slot tournament held
on August 25 and 26 at the three participating casinos also gave away HK$1
millionin total prize money to its 20 finalists.
