(Macao, January 30, 2013) – Visitors to Sands China’s Cotai Strip™ Resorts will experience a one-of-a-kind opportunity to team up with a glittering cast of celebrities from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China in the first-ever Race with the Stars extravaganza on Saturday, February 2 across the three properties of Sands China’s integrated resort city – The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel, Sands® Cotai Central and The Plaza™ Macao.
Visitors to Cotai Strip Resorts will not only get to see the celebrities up close, but can enter a lucky draw for a chance at becoming a contestant in the challenging and fun-filled Race with the Stars adventure together with the 11 celebrity guests: Jacky Wu, Huang Ping Yuen, Eric Suen, Athena Chu, Ekin Cheng, Jordan Chan, Chapman To, An Yi Xuan, Vanessa Yeung, Vinci Wong and Zhang Yang Guo Er. A total of up to MOP 500,000 in Sands Rewards Dollars awaits the winning team, and instant win prizes including Cotai Water Jet First Class tickets, dining and spa vouchers and golden “ru yi” ornaments will be given out during the race.

Visitors to Cotai Strip Resorts who are 21 years old and up can enter the lucky draw to determine up to 50 contestants of Race with the Stars by fulfilling any of the following conditions (maximum of three entries per visitor):
• Spend a total of MOP 888 or above in any shop or kiosk at Shoppes Grand Canal, Shoppes Cotai Central and/or Shoppes at Four Seasons on February 2 (maximum three receipts per entry).
• Purchase a hotel room night by cash or cash equivalent (excluding room packages) at The Venetian Macao; Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central; Conrad Macao, Cotai Central; or Holiday Inn Macao Cotai Central for the night of February 1.
• Spend MOP 200 or more at participating restaurants on February 2.
• Purchase a spa package worth MOP 1,000 or more on February 2.
• Purchase four or more tickets to Titanic The Exhibition and/or The Human Bodies Exhibition on February 2.
Completed lucky draw entry forms with accompanying receipt(s) or entry redemption coupon(s) must be submitted by 2:30 pm to one of the following locations:
• Shoppes Grand Canal: Customer Service Counter at Castella Square (near Shop # 2000)
• Shoppes at Four Seasons: Mall Concierge at Mezzanine Floor

The lucky draw will take place at 3 pm at Level 3 of Shoppes Cotai Central, assigning up to 50 winners to one of five celebrity-led teams competing in Race with the Stars, which kicks off at 3:30 pm on the same day. Lucky draw winners must be present (along with valid ID) to confirm their spot in the competition.
Cotai Strip Resorts is sure to be abuzz with excitement and suspense as soon as the Race with the Stars starting gun is fired. With a map and instructions in hand, the five teams will kick off their challenges at different locations, running through six iconic destinations throughout the three properties, trying to complete each destination’s task as quickly as possible. The six checkpoints where onlookers can catch the stars and their teams in action are:
1. St. Mark’s Square at Shoppes Grand Canal, The Venetian Macao
2. Shoppes at Four Seasons, The Plaza Macao (near Juicy Couture)
3. Level 2, Shoppes Cotai Central entrance
4. Level 2, next to the water curtain at Shoppes Cotai Central
5. Sala Pool, Sheraton Macao Hotel
6. Paradise Gardens, Sands Cotai Central
After completing the six tasks, teams will rush to the finish line on Level 3 of Shoppes Cotai Central to tally their final scores, which are based on the speed and quality of each task completed. The team earning the highest score will be crowned champion of Race with the Stars. Each of the up to 10 members of the winning team will be awarded MOP 50,000 in Sands Rewards Dollars, which can be used to redeem a wide spectrum of products and services throughout Sands China’s properties, including shopping, dining and hotel services.
In addition, the 11 celebrity guests will grace the red carpet in glamourous style at 6:30 pm at the porte-cochère of Sheraton Macao Hotel, and afterwards participate in a hand print ceremony.
