(Macao, January 25, 2010) – Following his last extraordinary performance at CotaiArena™ at The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel in January 2009, Hong Kong Canto-pop superstar Sam Hui will be back by popular demand and perform live for a second time at CotaiArena™ on March 6, 2010. Tickets are on sale now.
Widely acclaimed as the "God of Song" in Hong Kong, Sam Hui starts composing Cantonese songs and incorporating the then Western popular music into the Canto-pop genre in early 1970s. He has produced more than 25 albums in Cantonese and English. His music mostly combines the Western and Eastern elements in an inspirational but a way that easy to understand. The songs appealed to the Hong Kong masses particularly the working class with its simple lyrics and a light-hearted nature.
After flirting briefly with retirement, his thirst for entertainment brought him back to the stage. In the upcoming “Sam Hui Live in Macao 2010” concert, he will present a full repertoire of many of his most remarkable songs.
