The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel Proudly Presents The Much Eagerly Anticipated Concert “Sam Hui Live in Macao 2010”

(Macao, January 25, 2010) – Following his last extraordinary performance at CotaiArena™ at The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel in January 2009, Hong Kong Canto-pop superstar Sam Hui will be back by popular demand and perform live for a second time at CotaiArena™ on March 6, 2010. Widely acclaimed as the "God of Song" in Hong Kong, Sam Hui starts composing Cantonese songs and incorporating the then Western popular music into the Canto-pop genre in early 1970s. He has produced more than 25 albums in Cantonese and English. His music mostly combines the Western and Eastern elements in an inspirational but a way that easy to understand. The songs appealed to the Hong Kong masses particularly the working class with its simple lyrics and a light-hearted nature.

After flirting briefly with retirement, his thirst for entertainment brought him back to the stage. In the upcoming “Sam Hui Live in Macao 2010” concert, he will present a full repertoire of many of his most remarkable songs.
