(Macao, March 2, 2013) –The Father of Hong Kong rock and roll Danny Summer
and Cantopop singer Maria Cordero took the stage together at The Venetian®
Macao’s Venetian Theatre Saturday, with the
performance of the Maria Cordero + Danny
Summer New Year Concert, bringing to the Macao audience a string of their signature
songs and their captivating singing techniques.
Summer performed a special
selection of his greatest hits to the fans, such as “Childhood,” “This is
Love,” “Today, Yesterday” and “Nothing’s Impossible.” Macao-born Cordero also
sang a collection of songs like “Southern Bell,”
“In the mood” and a medley featuring traditional Chinese New Year songs.
A rock
singer, songwriter and guitarist from Hong Kong,
Summer’s popularity has extended from the 1980s until now. Cordero joined
the Hong Kong music industry in 1987, her
powerful, versatile and original vocal style remaining a signature of the industry.
