The Macau Wine & Dine Festival kick started May 23, 2013 as part of the month-long Italian-themed Venetian Carnevale at The Venetian® Macao. Organised by the Wine Society of Macau and sponsored by The Venetian Macao, it will be staged around the resort's lagoon, with live entertainment and a party atmosphere.
Open entrance until Sunday
The Festival is open every day from 2 pm until midnight, closing Sunday, May 26. Entrance is free and vouchers, which can be exchanged for wine and food tastings, cost MOP 10 each. Vouchers can be purchased on site.
Wine school for beginners and wine professionals
Elementary and in-depth educational sessions about food and wine will run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon, offering an extensive programme of 12 different educational sessions with a total of 720 seats.
It is recommended to pre-book seats online at www.winedinemacau.com/wine-school Entrance is MOP 50 to all wine school events; some seat sales will be available at the door.
