(Macao, February 1, 2013) – One of Hong Kong’s most respected composers, Joseph Koo, will take the CotaiArena™ stage at The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel on March 9, offering the audience an unforgettable night of live performance with Master Joseph Koo Concert 2013 Macau; tickets go on sale Monday, February 4, 2013. Koo will bring six special guests on stage, joining him to offer the Macao audience an evening of memorable tunes and classic hits.
Koo has composed over 1,200 songs in his prolific half-century career, many of them now considered as some of Cantopop’s all-time greatest hits. His well-known theme songs include those of popular Hong Kong television series The Legend of the Book and the Sword, The Shanghai Bund, Below the Lion Rock, Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre and Chor Lau Heung. Koo’s musical accomplishments have earned him numerous awards and accolades; he is a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE), received the Bronze Bauhinia Star from the Hong Kong Government in 1998, and is the recipient of a Music Accomplishment Award from the Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong Ltd. (CASH).
Tickets for the 8 pm, March 9 performance of Master Joseph Koo Concert 2013 Macau go on sale Monday, February 4 at 10 am, at all Sands China box offices*.
