(Macao, May 6, 2013) - From no limbs to no limits - such is the self-characterisation of renowned motivational speaker Nick Vujicic on the website for Life Without Limbs, the non-profit organisation he founded, and currently runs as President and CEO. The Venetian® Macao is co-sponsoring two shows of the gifted public speaker's Nick - Living a Splendid Life motivational presentation at the Cotai Arena™ on May 31 at 2 pm and 8 pm, with tickets on sale beginning Monday, May 6 through CotaiTicketing™*.
Vujicic visited Macao two years ago, speaking to a full house at Cotai Arena, promising he would be back to visit again. May 31 he fulfils that promise with two shows. Jointly organised by the Macau Sun Tou Tong Charity Society, Life Without Limbs and the Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra Association, Nick - Living a Splendid Life is co-sponsored by The Venetian Macao and the Macao Foundation.
Vujicic's afternoon show will include additional performances by Hong Kong artists Li Yanan and Corinna Chamberlain, who will again be part of the evening show, with the addition of Ruth Chen and Macau Youth Symphony Orchestra Association. Dr. Choi Yuen Wan, the honorary general secretary of Hong Kong non-profit organisation Breakthrough, will be on hand to translate the show into Cantonese.
Born in 1986 with the rare tetra-amelia syndrome, which results in the absence of all four limbs, Vujicic turned a lifetime handicap into a gift when he channelled his energies into giving motivational talks. At the age of 17 he founded his own non-profit organisation, Life Without Limbs. He promotes his work through television shows and books, has appeared in several movies, and has spoken to over 3 million people in over 24 countries on 5 continents. He speaks to corporate audiences, congregations and schools.
