(Macao, February 26, 2013) – Two of Hong Kong’s music legends Alan Tam and Teresa Carpio will
be performing together at The Venetian®
Macao-Resort-Hotel’s CotaiArena™ on April
13, offering a spectacular night of live performance with Alan Tam x Teresa Carpio "Time After
Time" Live in Macao 2013. Tickets for
the show go on sale Wednesday, February 27.
"Principal
Tam," as he’s known because of his mentorship role in the Cantopop
industry, has released over 200 solo albums during his
magnificent 30-year career, featuring songs in Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean and English,
with billions of records sold worldwide. In July 2010, he held eight
sold-out concerts in Hong Kong, followed by
concerts at The Venetian Macao in September 2011 and June 2012.
Teresa Carpio, one of Hong Kong’s most
respected singers, dedicates most of her time nowadays giving voice lessons at
her own music schools in Canada
and Hong Kong, still performing in occasional concerts
as a special guest. Carpio has coached some of the most famous singers in Hong Kong, including Sandy Lam, Sammi Cheng, Joey Yung
and Twins. Together on stage, Tam and Carpio are set to draw on the strengths
of their distinctive, powerful voices and enthusiastic energy as they deliver a
string of greatest hits and memorable tunes for their Macao audience.
