(Macao,
December 11, 2012) – The three-day6th Auto Fair
came to an end Sunday at The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel’s CotaiExpo™, with over 60
pre-owned cars sold on site and more than 6,700 visitors and buyers
having been attracted to this year’s biggest indoor pre-owned car sale in Macao.
Around
180 second-hand cars from 15 European and Japanese brands were exhibited for
sale at the over 75,000-square-foot (over 7,000-square–metre) Hall B at the
CotaiExpo between December 7 and 9, with free admission, providing an excellent platform
for sellers to showcase their cars and buyers to find their dream cars under
one roof. Over 6,700 visitors and buyers were drawn to this year’s auto show,
first introduced in August 2009 by The Venetian Macao. Total visitation not
only surpassed that of the 5th Auto Fair held in January 2012 by 26 per cent,
but also exceeded the organiser’s expectations. 61 cars were successfully sold
during the three-day event, generating around HK$12 million in sales.
This year, a total of eight local
automobile companies participated in the fair: Mok’s Wagen Automobile Co., Ltd.,
Mei Lai Kou Automo Veis Limitada, The King of Car, Carplus, Hang Seng
Automobile Trading Centre, Fai Fu Motor, Teng Long Car Industry, and Hong Ai
Motor.
