After entering the showbiz scene in Hong Kong in the 1980s, Grasshopper and Softhard joined hands for the first time in 2012 to stage the Grasshopper VS Softhard Concert in Hong Kong. Its 12 successful performances made the concert one of the year's hit shows, now bringing its light-hearted jokes and hit tunes re-written with humorous lyrics to a Macao audience for the first time.
Grasshopper - comprised of Calvin Choy, Remus Choy and Edmond So - is well-known for its outstanding dance performances, and has released over 40 Cantonese and Mandarin albums to date and received numerous music awards.
Hong Kong hip-hop pioneers and funnymen Jan Lamb and Eric Kot formed Softhard for a programme on Hong Kong Commercial Radio in 1988, becoming an instant hit with audiences thanks to the pair's innovative and humorous broadcasting style.
