ADVANCED MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

Management Candidate - Advanced Management Program

The Advanced Management Program aims to develop general management capability through the delivery of various projects and delivering operation results in the core business areas of The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel/Sands Macao Hotel.

Develop and transform high potentials middle level Managers both from within the Company and from outside to become Senior Managers.

Program Structure

Stage 1: Off-the-Job Learning

  • Candidates will be equipped with key competencies through in-class and action learning field project conducted by the external academic institution and in-house subject experts.
  • This learning stage will comprise 5 modules:
    1. Corporate Orientation and Personal Development
    2. Operation Management and Guest Service
    3. Leadership Development
    4. People Development
    5. Business Management

Stage 2: Job Rotation

  • Successful candidates will spend up to 18 months rotating in two to three core business areas
    • Manage assigned business projects
    • Run and manage small operation teams
    • Hold accountability to operating results of the specific assigned business period

Commencement Date
Two intakes each year in May and September

Program Duration
18 months with 2 to 3 rotations

Candidate Selection Criteria

  • External candidates need to complete a Post Graduate qualification. Internal candidates need to be graduates from a recognized university.
  • Candidates will need a minimum of 4 to 6 years work experience.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to pursuing a long-term management career within The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel/Sands Macao Hotel.
  • Demonstrated excellent leadership quality.
  • Credit average scholastic record and be PC Literate.
  • Good command (written and spoken) of English and either (one of the following) Cantonese or Mandarin.
