(Macao,October 16, 2012) -The final Royal Round of the Dragon Master Slot tournament featuring HK$5 million in prize money was successfully held last weekend, with Mr. Shen from Taiwan taking home the top cash prize of HK$2.8 million for his first place finish Sunday night at The Venetian® Macao. The entire Dragon Master Slot tournament series gave away a total of HK$7 million to 70 finalists since August.
The qualifying rounds of the Royal Dragon Master Slot competition took placeat The Venetian Macao, Sands® Macao and Sands® Cotai Central casinos Saturday, with approximate520 players, many of whom were Sands Rewards Club members, to participate in hopes of a five-million-dollar win. Around300 contestants earned a seat in Sunday's semi-final round at The Venetian Macao, with the top30 players going on to compete in the final round for the royal championship title. These 30 finalists each received a share of the tournament's HK$5 million total cash prize pool, of which HK$2.8 million was paid out to Mr. Shen, who finished in first place.
The previous twoDragon Master Slot tournaments held on August 26 and September 16 each gave away HK$1 million in total prize money to 20 lucky finalists.
