Jue Yao and Elisa Chan to pay tribute to love and passion on the silver screen
(Macao, March 26, 2012) - World-renowned violinist Jue Yao will give a fiery and exciting performance, accompanied by diva Elisa Chan, at The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel Sunday, April 8, 2012. Yao's live concert All About Love - A Tribute to the Silver Screen will take the stage at 5 pm at The Venetian Theatre. The concert will be the inaugural show of the newly launched luxury theatre which will play a key role in bringing the world's best entertainment to Macao.
Yao is the founder of the Yao Jue Music Academy and the Hong Kong Children's Chamber Orchestra in Hong Kong. She is the recipient of a long list of awards, including the "Outstanding Violinist Rado Timeless Award" in 2002 and was chosen as one of Hong Kong's "Ten Most Successful Women" in 2005. Yao has also held numerous sold-out solo concerts around the world, in places like Oregon, New York, Montreal, Moscow, Chile, Beijing, Hong Kong, Taipei and Manila.
All About Love expertly merges ingredients of pop and classical music, with a selection and rearrangement of music from Hollywood movie franchises including James Bond, Mission Impossible and Star Wars. Jue Yao will share the stage with Elisa Chan to perform a number of energetic and powerful pieces. Yao's talented lineup of musicians includes pianist Peco Chui, percussionist Chris Brien, double bass player CM and Orange, an avant-garde a cappella group, with music consultant Mr. Leon Ko and music arranger Mr. Ng Cheuk Yin.
Tickets for All About Love - A Tribute to the Silver Screen go on sale Monday, March 26, 2012 at 10 am, on the first floor of Sands® Macao and at the CotaiArena™ box office at The Venetian Macao.
