To celebrate this
Year of Rat and to share the joy of the Chinese New Year season with the local
elderly, The VenetianÒ Macao-Resort-Hotel and 3 Monkeys
Restaurant has organized a special birthday lunch for the members of the Trade
Union Tou San Elderly Centre, at St. Mark’s Square of the Grand Canal Shoppes
on the 7th day of the Chinese New Year.
Over 70 members of
the Trade Union Tou San Elderly Centre were invited to attend this lunch
gathering. The elderly guests were led and escorted by Ms. Ng So Foon, Vice President of Macao Federation of Trade Unions and the management of The VenetianÒ Macao-Resort-Hotel for a site tour before
they group at 3 Monkey’s Restaurant for a Chinese New Year Birthday Lunch.
“We would like with
this special lunch gathering to express our caring support and to give our
blessings to the local elderly on the 7th day of Chinese New Year,
which is also considered the birthday of all mankind by the Chinese culture.” said
Mr. Raymond
Khoo, Chief Executive Officer of Solutions 17 Group. The 3 Monkey Restaurant has prepared a festive
Singaporean dish as the appetizer for the birthday lunch. The elderly guests
tossed the salad together with their chopsticks as a gesture of cooperation,
mutual love and support and good fortune in the New Year.
