HK$2 million in total prize money awarded
(Macao, March 26, 2012) – A HK$1,000,000 cash prize was awarded to a smiling Mr. Yan for his first place finish Sunday night in the Asia Baccarat Masters tournament at The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel.
421 baccarat players, majority of whom are Sands Rewards Club (SRC) members, played through the qualifying rounds of the contest at the Sands® Macao and The Venetian Macao casinos Saturday. A total of 81 players made it to Sunday’s semi-final round, from which nine lucky final-round players competed for the title of “Asia Baccarat Master,” each receiving a share of the HK$2,000,000 total cash prize pool.
