The Stars Shine Brightly at Sands China Integrated Resorts

(Macao, September 27, 2012) -Celebrity sightings are becoming a regular occurrence in Macao, and visitors to Sands China Ltd. properties may have found themselves starstruck over the last few weeks, with two recent high-profile productions in town.

The incredibly popular The Voice of China reality TV show staged two nights of sellout concerts last week, on Friday and Saturday, September 21 and 22. Both shows were met by huge demand and featured 21 of the popular contestants from the hit talent competition, and Friday's concert also featured performances from the show's four celebrity mentors - Liu Huan, Na Ying, Yang Kun and Harlem Yu. The show's stars were also seen on the red carpet on September 20, as Sands® Cotai Central successfully launched its second phase with the opening of the world's largest Sheraton hotel, at a ceremony featuring a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the Cotai sky.

World-famous Chinese film star Zhang Ziyi was also at the same red carpet event, while in town shooting scenes for her upcoming Hollywood movie, My Lucky Star, directed by American filmmaker Dennie Gordon. Lucky fans may have spotted the glamorous actress with co-star Wang Leehom between September 2 and 25 at several of The Venetian® Macao's well-known attractions, such as the outdoor lagoon, the indoor waterways and bridges of the Grand Canal and the ornate main hotel lobby. Onlookers may have also caught sight of the stars and their director at a September 19 press conference at Shoppes Grand Canal's St. Mark's Square. A landmark property of the Cotai Strip® development, Macao's renowned integrated resort has become a popular location with movie makers.

With international entertainment events one of the cornerstones of Sands China's strategy - supporting Macao's development into a world centre of tourism and leisure - celebrity sightings are on the rise in Macao.
