(Macao, July 23, 2012) – Young fans of K-pop are in for a treat with a special offer on the upcoming August 11 Beauty & the B2st Live in Macao concert at The Venetian® Macao’s CotaiArena™, the first stop of the joint concert tour of Korean bands Beast and 4Minute.
To promote Korean pop music among the younger generation, and in consideration of their spending power, ticket buyers with a valid student identity card will receive a special 25 per cent discount on the purchase of Beauty & the B2st Live in Macao tickets.
Beast, a six-member boy band and 4Minute, a five-member girl group, will each sing at least eight songs during the two-hour performance, on the specially-designed T-shape stage, complemented by laser and lighting effects. Beast is going to release its 5th album “Midnight Sun” this week and the group will also perform its newest songs on the Macao leg of the concert tour. Meanwhile, 4Minute will for the first time perform some of the songs from its latest album Volume Up outside of South Korea, at the Venetian Macao. Kim Hyun A from 4Minute, a former member of the leading South Korean girls’ group Wonder Girls, and Jang Hyun Seung from Beast will also team up to perform their smash hit ”Trouble Maker,” which currently has over 19 million views on YouTube.
Signed to the Cube Entertainment record label in South Korea, Beast and 4Minute both participated in the 2011 world live concert tour United Cube Concert that kicked off in Seoul, before making its way to Tokyo, London and lastly, São Paulo. The two groups performed to over 2,500 fans in London, making it one of the first large-scale Korean pop concerts in the UK. Their performance won the applause and admiration of Korean pop fans in Europe and helped them gain growing fame throughout Asia.
