(Macao, July 19, 2012) – Hong Kong’s everlasting pop diva Sandy Lam is set to surprise her fans with a selection of songs and costumes that are unique for the Macao leg of her August 4 performance of Sandy Lam Live in Macao at the CotaiArena™ at The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel.
Sandy Lam promises new elements in each stop of her world tour, whether in the wardrobes or the song selections, to give her fans a performance that is never exactly the same. In addition to her all-time greatest hits and her new music arrangements, the pop diva is going to sing a number of Cantonese songs exclusively for her Macao audience of fans. Sandy Lam Live in Macao will also feature the “drummer king of Asia,” Hong Kong singer, songwriter and music producer Jun Kung, to collaborate with Lam alongside music director Anthony Lun.
Lam rose to fame in Hong Kong in the mid 80s with a string of up-tempo Japanese-style songs. She gained instant popularity in Taiwan with her 1990 debut Mandarin release Home Again Without You. In 1995, she released her fourth Mandarin album Love, Sandy, featuring the hit single “Scars,” becoming her best-selling Chinese language album and establishing her as super diva in Asia.
