(Macao, August 4, 2012) – Hong Kong’s everlasting pop diva Sandy Lam delighted her audience of fans with her brand new live performance of Sandy Lam Live in Macao at The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel’s CotaiArena™ Saturday night, delivering her classic love songs incorporated with entirely new music arrangements.
Dressed in a glamorous one-piece dress, Sandy Lam welcomed the Macao audience by singing her classic songs such as “Take my breath away” and “Grey,” kicking off the one-night-only concert. In collaboration with music director Anthony Lun, the Cantopop singer performed numerous newly-arranged classic hits such as “Not at home,” “Love Forgone” and “At least there was you.” Her impressive collaboration with “the drummer king of Asia,” Jun Kung, also added colour to the concert, garnering huge applause from the appreciative crowd.
Lam rose to fame in Hong Kong in the mid 80s with a string of up-tempo Japanese-style songs. In 1995, she released her fourth Mandarin album Love, Sandy, featuring the hit single “Scars,” becoming her best-selling Chinese language album and establishing her as super diva in Asia.
