The Moscow-based Imperial Ice Stars has been touring worldwide in the past two years and it is finally coming to Macao with a dynamic new interpretation of this award-winning masterpiece, Swan Lake on Ice, Having won the Manchester Evening News 'Best Special Entertainment Award' in 2007, the breathtaking production will be performed to Tchaikovsky's magnificent and well-loved score, against lavish backdrops and scenery created by one of Australasia's leading scenic designers, Eamon D'Arcy. The ice skater performers of Olympic, World, European and National Championships have won over 200 competition medals among them. In addition,the costuming has also been refined for this unique theatrical extravaganza, with some glamourous and sophisticated designs from renowned costumier Albina Gabueva of Moscow's Stanislavsky Theatre, and made by the famous Bolshoi Ballet's costume cutters.
