(Macao, October 26, 2012) -One of Taiwan's most popular ballad and pop singer-songwriters, Fei Yu Ching, is coming to The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel on December 8 to perform his all-time greatest hits to his Macao audience of fans at the CotaiArena™, with ticketson sale now.
Fei, whose birth name is Chang Yen Ting, began his singing career in the late 1970s and his global fan base has continued to grow ever since. His performance of several theme songs of television dramas gained even more popularity than the dramas themselves. At the 19th Golden Bell Awards in 1984, one of the most prestigious award shows for Taiwan's mass media industry, Fei's appealing and soothing voice earned him a Best Male Singer win, after which he was widely dubbed "The King of Golden Bell." In 2006, Fei was featured in the duet "Faraway" with Mandopop singer Jay Chou. The song was also released on Chou's album Still Fantasy, thus showcasing Fei's talent to a broader audience base. His hit songs also include "A Spray of Plum Blossoms," "Ode to the Republic of China" and "Good Night Song."
