Edmond Leung started his showbiz career in Hong Kong by becoming a finalist in the 8th annual New Talent Singing Awards in 1989, at the age of 17, winning him a contract with music label Capital Artists. Two years later he released his debut album Thinking of You, Waiting for You, and since then, many of his songs have become all-time favourites among young adults, including "A Man in the Closet," "Good Friends" and "Three Wounded Hearts." In 2011, Leung took home the Male Singer Award at the Metro Radio Hits Music Awards Presentation by Metro Broadcast Corporation, a commercial radio station in Hong Kong. He has also engaged himself in song writing, film and TV drama acting and TV programme hosting during his two-plus decades in the entertainment industry.
