(Macao, July 2, 2012) – Rising Korean pop boy band Beast and girl band 4Minute will collaborate on the CotaiArena™ stage for Beauty and The B2st Live in Macao at The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel on August 11 at 8 pm. The show is set to amaze the audience with talented performances, newly arranged songs and stunning stage wardrobes. Tickets for the concert go on sale Monday, July 2.
Signed to the Cube Entertainment record label in South Korea, Beast and 4Minute both participated in the 2011 world live concert tour United Cube Concert that kicked off in Seoul, before making its way to Tokyo, London and lastly, São Paulo. The two groups performed to over 2,500 fans in London, making it one of the first large-scale Korean pop concerts in the UK. Their striking performance and dance moves won the applause of Korean pop fans in Europe and helped them gain growing fame throughout Asia. The two groups coming together on the CotaiArena stage will surely conquer the audience and give a sparkling performance that has never been seen before.
Beast is a six-member boy band formed in 2009, releasing their first full-length album Fiction and Fact in 2011. Their hit song “Fiction” was named 2011 Song of the Year at KBS Music Festival 2011. 4Minute was formed by five girls in 2009, and rose quickly to prominence, holding two concerts in Japan in 2010. In early 2011, the group received the Bonsang Award at the 20th Seoul Music Awards and was also awarded the Kpop New Artist Award at the 2010 Billboard Japan Music Awards.
Among the members of the two groups, Kim Hyun A from 4Minute, a former member of the leading South Korean girls’ group Wonder Girls, and Jang Hyun Seung from Beast also work as a duo, and released their smash hit ”Trouble Maker,” which hit 19 million views on YouTube, to enormous buzz. The duo launched their first album with the same name in December 2011, which won two awards from two separate South Korean music television programmes for the song “Trouble Maker.”
