Tournament champion takes home HK$1 million prize
(Macao, November 28, 2011) – HK$2.5 million in total cash and chip prizes were awarded to 18 lucky baccarat players who emerged on top in the Grand Baccarat Master tournament at The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel Sunday. A jubilant Mr. Wang took first place in the Saturday and Sunday contest, winning a HK$700,000 cash prize along with HK$300,000 in promo chips, after beating out over 300 other tournament hopefuls.
The competition follows the September 3 and September 17 baccarat tournaments at the Sands® Macao and The Venetian Macao casinos, which awarded top players with a combined prize pool of HK$2.5 million. And the November 13 Grand Asia Slot Master tournament awarded over HK$3 million to the top twenty players.
