(Macao, February 27, 2012) – Sands China Ltd. is pleased to announce today the promotions of Ms. Melina Leong to Vice President of Public Relations and Community Affairs; and Ms. Jacqueline Wu to Vice President of Events and Special Projects, Sands Cotai Central. Ms. Leong is currently the company’s Vice President of Community Relations, overseeing corporate social responsibility and community affairs. As of March 1, 2012, Ms. Leong will be tasked with additional responsibilities in media relations, further enhancing the company’s communication with all constituencies. Ms. Leong is a Macau native and has been with Sands China for over six years. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Leong oversaw corporate communications for various local companies such as CTM and Macau International Airport.
Ms. Wu is the company’s current Vice President of Public Relations, and will transition to leading the Events and Special Projects team in a dedicated effort to promote the largest property of the Sands China portfolio. Ms Wu joined the company in 2010 and brings over 15 years of experience in marketing and corporate communication. “Melina and Jacqueline are both very important assets to the company, and both possess very strong experience in their respective areas.
