World-famous lingerie brand celebrates first-to-market store with celebrity event
(Macao, February 14 2012) - All eyes were on the pink carpet Thursday night, as Victoria's Secret celebrated the opening of its Beauty & Accessories shop at The Venetian® Macao-Resort-Hotel with a music- and model-filled celebrity event. Chinese model and actress Lynn Hung was in attendance, as was Hong Kong model and TV personality Carrie Lam, along with model and DJ Jeana Ho, who spun the turntables for the glitzy and glamorous VIP cocktail event.
The world-famous specialty retailer of lingerie and beauty products opened its first-ever store in China on December 1, located at St. Mark's Square at The Grand Canal Shoppes. The new store offers customers access to an assortment of popular Victoria's Secret body and beauty products, including fragrances, and an exclusive collection of Victoria's Secret-branded accessories, such as small leather goods, bags, and luggage.
The new addition to The Grand Canal Shoppes is only the first of several first-to-market brands coming to the Cotai Strip®. Michael Kors and Pink Grill will be making their Macao debuts when Sands® Cotai Central opens this spring. Shoppes Cotai Central will join The Grand Canal Shoppes and The Shoppes at Four Seasons to form Shoppes Cotai, the largest luxury retail experience in all of Macao, with nearly 600 retailers to choose from.

The Grand Canal Shoppes has enjoyed stellar performance in 2011 and is looking forward to the enhancement of its luxury shopping experience with the spring opening of Shoppes Cotai Central, which will feature expanded retail brand offerings like Sergio Rossi and Yves Saint Laurent. The Grand Canal Shoppes recently extended its line up of stores by welcoming Los Angeles-based premium denim maker 7 For All Mankind in November, as did The Shoppes at Four Seasons when it unveiled its Vivienne Westwood store in December.
The contemporary interior of the new Victoria's Secret spans nearly 1,500 square feet,and its sophisticated and glamorous decor includes a gallery of iconic black and white Victoria's Secret supermodel imagery. The store front features an installation of the one of-a-kind Angel Wings featured in the world-famous Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
